Designed by architect Gary Cullen and purpose-built in 1998, Te Horo Lodge offers four ensuite guestrooms with a conservatory, private lounge and boutique conference room. A roaring open fire in the stone fireplace in the lounge in winter and the spa and swimming pool in summer make Te Horo a suitable get-away for Wellingtonians all year round. Set in two hectares (five acres) of gardens and developing orchard, and surrounded by another two hectares of native bush, Te Horo provides peace and tranquillity for rest and recreation.

A full breakfast is served in the dining room and dinner is also offered in this fully licensed Lodge. Alfresco barbecues in the gazebo are popular or, alternatively, restaurants are just a 10-minute drive away at Waikanae.
