With 'Flexi' and Flexi Plus' fares, you can travel on the Overlander and/or the Northerner trains in the North Island and the TranzCoastal train in the South Island plus travel on an Interisland Line ferry between Wellington and Picton.

Booking Conditions

*  Travel must be pre-booked before travel commences
*  Seats are subject to availability
*  Travel must be in one direction. Back tracking or return travel is not permitted
*  No refund of unused travel sector/s once travel has commenced
*  20% cancellation fee will be charged once payment has been processed and
Ticket/Itinerary has been issued and where travel has not commenced
*  Reservations must be made and confirmed 14 days prior to commencement of first travel sector
*  Open dated travel sector/s not permitted
*   Any changes to a travel sector is subject to availability
*  One change is free. Further change/s at NZ$15.00 per change
*  Any change must be processed by Rail New Zealand
*  'Flexi' and 'Flexi Plus' fares are valid for 30 days from first date of travel
* 'Flexi' fare is valid in the North Island only
* 'Flexi Plus' fare cannot be used on the TranzAlpine train
*  "Flexi' and 'Flexi Plus' fares are Non Transferable/Non Upgradable
*  'Flexi' and 'Flexi Plus' fares can not be used with other discounts
*  'Flexi' and 'Flexi Plus' fares are available for sale within and outside of New Zealand
*  'Flexi' and 'Flexi Plus' fares are not available through or from Tranz Scenic 2001 Ltd
*  'Flexi' and 'Flexi Plus' fares are a product of Rail New Zealand
