Train Information -

The TranzAlpine train is a daylight train offering air conditioned carriages with panaromic windows, airline style reclining seats, viewing Carriage and Buffet Carriage. Mobile phone service is available.

Remarks -

Passenger fares are based on 'Standard' adult fare. Child (2-14yrs) is 60% of adult fare. Children between 8-14yrs may travel unaccompanied by an adult provide a release is signed by the parent/guardian. Tranz Rail 2001 Ltd strongly recomends children under 12yrs do not travel unaccompanied on any Tranz Scenic train services. 'Advance Purchase' Fares are available and are subject to availability.
